Endless energy also makes her to be the COO of a startup and a social media manager in a comedy club.

Her career path’s been a colorful mix, touching diverse fields from coordinating programs and managing social media to dabbling in journalism, translation, finance, and marketing. Notably, internships with nonprofit organizations revealed her passion for program management related to social issues such as environmental participation (click here to see my Avatar), entertainment, childcare, gender equality and LGBTQ+ rights.
Venturing into grad school, she has willingly stepped outside her comfort zone to acquire technical skills, such as visual designing (Adobe Suite, Capcut, Canva, Miro), data processing (RStudio, RAWGraphs, Excel Sheet), Website Construction (WordPress, Elementor, Figma) and CRM platform like Salesforce.
A true believer in communication, she sees the transformative power of communication to forge connections across diverse fields and unite people from all walks of life. She views communication as a dynamic interplay of expression and listening, a perspective that resonates well with her past experiences.
She armed with an bachelor degree with honor in English with a concentration in Trade and Economics. Over four years, her endeavors have spanned a range of activities, from writing news articles racing against time in the packed stadium to delving into marketing research for New Energy Vehicles, from scheduling events timeline for a whisky bar to inviting the guest mentor for the eco-friendly program.
Her zest for life has propelled her into numerous voluntary initiatives like RSD12: Entangled in Emergence, Chengdu 2021 FISU, 2022 National Art Examination, Spring Bud Plan 2021 Public Welfare, Nanhai Cup International High School Chinese Debate Invitational Tournament, and China Daily’s “21st Century Cup” National English Speaking Competition. She believes in the transformative impact of good deeds, not only enriching her own journey but also making the world a bit brighter.
Outside her academic and professional pursuits, swimming is her favorite sport followed by cycling and running. Do not get her wrong, each of these three is good, but not triathlon. And though she herself is not athletic, you can find her cheering from the sidelines at sports events. Apart from that, as she was raised in a gastronomic city as a Cantonese, fine food delights her the most. Fun fact of her: she’s not only managing the club but also a stand-up & improv comedian in the comedy club :p
In essence, Claire (Xinyi) Kuang’s journey is marked by a continuous quest for engaging and meaningful experiences, aiming for a blend of personal growth and making a difference.
